Thiago Alcantara hangs up his boots! Former Barcelona and Bayern star to retire from football after Liverpool exit.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Per Fabrizio Romano, Thiago is set to call time on his career at the age of 33. The former Spain international made his professional debut in 2008 for Barcelona B and went on to become a fixture at the Camp Nou, before joining Bayern Munich in 2013. He would spend seven years at the club prior to his final transfer, when he joined Liverpool in 2020.
