Taylor Swift isn’t going to be fazed by an onstage tech malfunction!
During her Eras Tour show in Indianapolis on Friday, Nov. 1, Swift, 34, experienced a microphone pack malfunction onstage while performing her song “Lavender Haze,” and had to have the device changed .
In a video posted on TikTok of the moment, Swift said “I need a new pack,” into her microphone in the middle of her performance, appearing to call out to the crew.
Swift, who wore a purple furry coat and sequined mini dress onstage, then walked in a circle and reached behind her back with one arm as she kept singing into the microphone.
She then stood still centerstage and said, “I just need a new wireless pack because this one is out of battery, please,” addressing the crew off stage again as she continued to perform.
The “Fortnight” singer was ever the professional, keeping her performance going as she walked across the stage and back again before a crew member came onstage to help her.
Swift removed her coat and lifted her dress, revealing a sparkling blue bodysuit underneath, and turned around as the crew member stood behind her and swapped her microphone pack while she remained dancing on the spot.
During the tech fix, Swift sang into her microphone for a few more seconds while touching her ear with her other arm, tapping her leg to the beat of the song. After the crew member finished changing her microphone pack she said, “Thank you,” and jumped up and down before continuing the next portion of the show.
