Selena Gomez Casts a Spell in Red at Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Premiere
The Disney star matched her red purse to her “I voted” sticker on her way to the red carpet
Selena Gomez is looking magical.
The Disney star, 32, had all eyes on her at the world premiere of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, Oct. 28.
Gomez, who is reprising her role as Alex Russo in the Disney series, arrived at the event in a red sequin, midi stress. The structured sweetheart neckline added the perfect amount of drama, in addition to a peplum waist.

She wore red slingback pumps to pull her look together.
Her hair was styled in a shoulder-length, wavy bob, and her makeup was fun and flirty with a bit of shimmer on her eyelids, rosy cheeks and gloss on her lips.
Ahead of the world premiere, Gomez made a quick — but important — stop.
“On my way to the Wizards premiere,” she said in a selfie video posted to her TikTok account.

Gomez then flipped the camera to show her mail-in ballot for the 2024 presidential election. “ITS TIME TO GO VOTE!!!” she captioned the clip, which was set to Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go.”
Next, the video showed the Only Murders in the Building actress walking down a sidewalk, dressed in full glam (even waving to a local food truck along the way), to drop off her mail-in ballot in a designated dropbox.
After her vote was in, Gomez added her “I voted” sticker to her red clutch purse and headed to the red carpet.
Once she arrived at the El Capitan Theatre, Gomez posed with her Wizards Beyond Waverly Place costars.
The series reboot also sees her TV brother David Henrie return as Justin Russo. Newer talent includes Taylor Cora (Winter), Mimi Gianopulos (Giada Russo), Janice LeAnn Brown (Billie), Max Matenko (Milo Russo) and Alkaio Thiele (Roman Russo) — who appeared with Gomez for a group photo at the special event.
