“I want the show to come back,” the star tells PEOPLE at the Oct. 10 preview of her lingerie brand’s new lace collection
Rihanna has a vision for a new Savage X Fenty Fashion Show.
At the Thursday, Oct. 10, preview of her lingerie brand’s new Lavish Lace Collection, the singer and entrepreneur, 36, teased the return of the star-studded fashion shows.
“I want the show to come back,” she told PEOPLE at the event, which took place at the Century City Mall Nordstrom in Los Angeles. “We are doing a flip on the face of the brand and we’re just trying to launch everything.”
She continued, “We want a new message, a new logo. We just launched new collections and you’ll see we’re introducing you to a brand new Savage X Fenty brand, and then we could take it from there.”
The Grammy winner also opened up about her go-to mom uniform for parenting her two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 14 months, whom she shares with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.
“Anything that’s cozy, anything that’s stretchy, anything that’s easy to bend down and pick my kids up in. Those are the things I look for,” she said. “Things that don’t scratch me, don’t scratch them. We’ve got a lot of work to do in a day of a life of a mom.”

The last Savage x Fenty show was filmed in October 2022 in Los Angeles and hit Prime Video on Nov. 9, 2022.
Six months after welcoming her first baby in May that year, Rihanna channeled Mother Earth and Mother Nature in the show’s opening. Following an intro of “See You Again” by Tyler, The Creator, the music switched to “D.M.B.” by A$AP Rocky. Rihanna emerged wearing a blue corset with floral detail, sheer gloves and stockings and a black tulle shrug.

“I’m looking forward to [people seeing] it,” Rihanna told PEOPLE ahead of the show airing. “It’s my first real thing that I’ve done since I had the baby, work-wise.”
Vol. 4 also featured celebrity appearances from Cara Delevingne — who rocked bleached brows with her lingerie — Simu Liu, Precious Lee, Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls and Johnny Depp.
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty debuted in 2018 and the brand’s first (non-televised) fashion show took place during New York Fashion Week that year. The first televised special, Vol. 2, premiered in September 2019. Vol. 3 premiered in September 2021.
