Paul Pogba’s shock next club?! Frenchman’s wife Zulay drops hint while watching Real Madrid match as doping ban ticks down

Zulay Pogba has been a welcome source of support for the World Cup-winning midfielder throughout a suspension that was reduced to 18 months on appeal. He has seen his contract at Serie A giants Juventus terminated, but will be free to resume his career from March 2025.

  Zulay has decided to have some fun with that, posting a cheeky update on social media while catching a live game from La Liga. Real Madrid were in action against Las Palmas, with Zulay saying: “Can’t wait to see Paul Pogba play again.” She included a ‘laughing monkey’ emoji in the post.

• WHAT NEXT?

  Given that she also included a laughing emoji, Zulay would appear to be making a general statement about her partner’s imminent return to the field, rather than delivering a nod towards his next port of call. Anything could, however, happen as no paperwork has been signed.
