Mike Epps wants Ice Cube to get to work on another “Friday” movie.

Mike Epps says Ice Cube should get to work on a new Friday film to end the drama after Katt Williams’ recent comments on the Club Shay Shay podcast. He discussed the alleged pay disparity between actors who starred in the series by defending Cube, although he took aim at a number of other comedians in Hollywood including Kevin Hart, Rickey Smiley, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and more.

“I know what the problem is,” Epps began, captioning a photo of himself with Terry Crews and Ice Cube. “We all need another FRIDAY put everybody in the movie all of us may the best win on screen f*ck all the internet sh*t forget the money forget the status forget Hoolywood let’s go big bro @icecube make history.” Killer Mike, Key Glock, Tracy McGrady, and many more celebrities joined in agreement in the comments section.

Cube previously addressed the idea of making another Friday film during an interview on Drink Champs in 2022. “I’m trying to get it out of Warner Bros., they don’t believe in the culture, man,” he said at the time. “I had two scripts. I wrote one, it was the sh*t. They was like, ‘Yo, we don’t want Craig and Day-Day in jail, ’cause Craig and Day-Day went to jail for selling weed before it was legal! Then after they rejected it they had all these f*cking movies about going to jail: Orange Is The New Black… Get Hard. So then I wrote another script, and the script was really about … the youngsters in the hood having beef with the OG’s in the hood and Craig has to come back and squash that because Smokey’s son is the new Deebo and he’s wylin! They tripped on it, man. They f*cked around and then John Witherspoon passed. Then Deebo passed … they just f*cked it up.”
