Meek Mill has joined the chorus of people questioning Joe Biden’s whereabouts as he has not been seen in public since before he announced he was ending his presidential re-election campaign.

President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 last week and dropped out of the presidential race on Sunday (July 21) by releasing a statement to the media, but has not been seen in public since last Wednesday (July 17) as he continues to recover from his illness.

Even though the 81-year-old has been homebound for just five days, it has led to wild and baseless conspiracy theories about his absence, primarily from far-right opponents.

Meek Mill is also one of those wondering where the current president is as he asked his followers on X (formerly Twitter): “Where tf is Joe Biden at?”

Despite the intense speculation, Biden called into a campaign event for Vice President Kamala Harris, who has replaced him as the Democratic nominee, on Monday (July 22).

“I know yesterday’s news was surprising and hard for you to hear, but it was the right thing to do,” Biden told staffers in the call. “I know it’s hard because you’ve poured your heart and soul into me, to help me win this nomination.”

He added: “I’m hoping that you’ll give every bit of your heart and soul that you gave to me to Kamala. And I want you to know, I won’t be on the ticket but I’m still going to be fully, fully engaged.”

Cardi B was among a number of high-profile figures to react to a dramatic week in politics, which started with Donald Trump surviving an assassination attempt and ended with Biden backing out as the Democratic nominee for president.

The Bronx rap star celebrated Kamala Harris running for president by reminding fans that she urged Democrats to let the vice president enter the race instead of Biden last month.

“AHAHAHAHA LETS GOOOOO I TOLD YALLL KAMALA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE 2024 candidate…..STOP FUCKIN PLAYIN WITH ME !!!!!!!” she wrote on X.

The “WAP” hitmaker added in a separate Instagram post: “Been told y’all Kamala should’ve been the 2024 candidate. Y’all be trying to play the Bronx education, baby this what I do!!! Been my passion.. don’t let my accent fool y’all.”

Cardi also re-uploaded footage from late June of her offering her take on the Democratic Party as Biden struggled to impress voters with poor debate performances and bizarre mistakes in press conferences.

In the clips, she said: “I feel like it was very selfish of Biden and the whole Democrat Party […] that they allow Biden to continue to run for president. I feel like they should have passed the torch to Kamala. This was the perfect moment for her. Right now, I don’t feel like we have strong candidates.”

She continued: “I feel like this would have been her perfect time to shine. We already know that she’s sharp with the fucking mouth. Whatever value that Biden wants, she’s practically the same value. So I feel like it was a little bit selfish to not make that choice to give her this moment to run for presidency.”
