The actor shares his daughters Alexia, 26, Isabella, 18, Gia, 16, and Stella, 13, with wife Luciana Damon
Matt Damon’s house looks a little bit different without his daughter Isabella.
The Air star, 53, spoke with E! News at Stella Artois’ Let’s Do Dinner event and shared that his family dynamic has shifted a little since his 18-year-old daughter Isabella left for college. Damon shares his daughters — Alexia, 26, Isabella, Gia, 16, and Stella, 13 — with wife Luciana.
“We have a 26-year-old, so we’ve been through this once before but it’s still a major adjustment for us and for her sisters,” Damon said of his daughter Isabella heading off to school. “It’s a different household with one less person there. So, it’s a big adjustment.”
In August, Damon spoke with PEOPLE about how fast his kids are growing up in a joint interview with The Instigators costar Casey Affleck. The two were asked if they ever share parenting advice, given that they are both raising teenagers.
“I don’t think we swap a lot of fatherly advice. I mean, we do talk about it, but it’s more in the sense of just marveling at how quickly it’s passing,” Damon said.
“It’s like suddenly your kid’s going to college, and it’s at a blistering pace,” the dad of four joked.
In July, Damon walked the red carpet with his entire family for the New York premiere of The Instigators. The proud dad posed for photos with all four of his daughters and his wife, smiling together.
PEOPLE spoke to the Oppenheimer star at the event, who said that his wife was the one who convinced him to join the upcoming comedic thriller.
“She actually produced this one,” Damon said of Luciana. “So she was very actively involved in this one, but I just trust her.”
