One moment fans will get to see during season four of The Morning Show is Aniston’s character getting covered in fake oil.
Photos of the moment went viral in July 2024 amid filming in New York City, for what appeared to be a protest scene for the series.
Months later, while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Aniston said the scene sparked concerned responses from those closest to her.
“I was getting endless texts [asking], ‘Are you okay? What happened to you? This is awful,’ ” she recalled.
Season four of The Morning Show will see the additions of new cast members, including Jeremy Irons, who will portray Martin Levy, Alex’s father, and Marion Cotillard, who will star as Celine Dumont, a “savvy operator from a storied European family,” per Deadline.
“We were really lucky that people want to be a part of this show, I have to say,” Aniston tells PEOPLE of the new cast. “I mean, Marion Cotillard is just gorgeous, and what a kind human being on top of being the talent that she is. And Jeremy Irons — good God, just pinch me.”
“We just had a lot of great actors and actresses that came on this year, so it’s going to be fun to watch,” she adds.
Seasons 1-3 of The Morning Show are available to stream now on Apple TV+.
