Jason Statham is back with another brutal action flick.
On Thursday, Jan. 9, Amazon MGM Studios debuted the first trailer for A Working Man, in which Statham plays Levon Cade, a former special forces soldier working in construction who takes on human traffickers after they kidnap his boss’ daughter.
The trailer shows Levon living a simple life after his wife’s death and his retirement from the U.K.’s Royal Marines. He finds a second family in his boss (Michael Peña) and his family — and he takes on a solo mission when the family’s daughter goes missing after a night out with friends.
Statham, 57, is shown tracking down human traffickers and fighting his way through a number of action sequences as he investigates the kidnapping.
He connects with a former military pal (David Harbour) to acquire weapons and finds that both organized crime and government officials have been corrupted by human trafficking organizations.

A Working Man reunites Statham with director David Ayer, with whom he made last year’s action-revenge movie The Beekeeper.
Ayer, 56, co-wrote A Working Man with Sylvester Stallone, whom Statham previously worked with on The Expendables franchise. The film is based on the 2014 novel Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon.
“Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction,” reads a synopsis. “But when his boss’ daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.” A tagline for the film reads: “Human traffickers beware.”
The film also stars Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Maximilian Osinski, Cokey Falkow, Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Emmett J. Scanlan and Eve Mauro.
A Working Man is in theaters March 29.
