Jamie Foxx plans to file lawsuit against the culprit who threw glass at him
Jamie Foxx has decided to press charges against the person who threw a glass at him in the face on his birthday at the Beverly Hills restaurant Mr. Chow.
The 57-year-old actor “had to get stitches” as a result of the accident on December 13th, according to the statement by his representative.
A source close to the Oscar winning star shared that he is “fully cooperating with the investigation,” with TMZ on Thursday, December 26th.
The Django Unchained entertainer “wants to press charges so this type of incident does not happen to others,” the insider told the outlet.
As of now, police have not made any arrests with respect to the accident, or revealed a suspect, according to the outlet.
They also reported that authorities are looking to speak with Jackass stuntman Jasper Dolphin, who was present at the restaurant that night.
The investigators are examining the footage shared from that evening of the comedian’s birthday, however any video has not been released publicly.
The case remains unconcluded as police are still conducting interviews and evidence, according to the report.
This comes after Foxx was hit by “someone from another table” as they “threw a glass that hit him in the mouth,” according to his rep, adding that “the police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”
