“This is my time,” Hugh Jackman said of his upcoming concert series in an announcement video featuring his ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ costar, Ryan Reynolds
Hugh Jackman is returning to the stage!
After a summer that saw Jackman reprise his iconic superhero role as Wolverine in the smash-hit Deadpool & Wolverine, the actor and singer announced that he will perform a series of 12 concerts, titled “From New York, with Love.” The performances will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City throughout 2025.
Jackman, 55, included his Deadpool & Wolverine costar, Ryan Reynolds, in an Instagram announcement made on Wednesday, Oct. 9. In a video reminiscent of when Reynolds initially announced Jackman’s return as Wolverine in September 2022, the X-Men star reflected on “what comes next.”
“Hey Ryan, you want come to one of my live performances at Radio City Music Hall?” Jackman asked Reynolds, 47. He then jokingly told Reynolds he would be part of the show while silently indicating the Deadpool actor won’t be involved. “This is my time,” Jackman continued, as the video showed him explaining how the performances will function to Reynolds over bombastic music.
“I’m not going to be in it?” Reynolds said. “On stage, no. But in my heart, yeah,” Jackman responded, joking that his costar may only be invited to view a tech rehearsal from a distance. “I’ve won the friendship lottery,” Reynolds joked as the video ended.
Jackman plans to perform songs from stage productions and movies throughout his career, including numbers from The Boy from Oz, The Greatest Showman and The Music Man, among a number of other surprises from his career, according to a press release.

“Oh what a beautiful day,” Jackman wrote on Instagram as he shared a poster for the upcoming concert series.
The 12-concert series kicks off the weekend of Jan. 24, 2025 and continues through weekends in April, May, June, and July of 2025; two final shows will be held on Aug. 15 and 16 of next year as well.
Jackman is no stranger to the stage. He won a Tony Award in 2004 for his performance in The Boy from Oz, has performed in a number of Broadway productions and hosted or performed at the Tony Awards four times. The actor also hosted the 81st Academy Awards in 2009, where he memorably performed an opening number celebrating that year’s movies.
