Drake initially promised a joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR back in August and said it would arrive “when it gets a little chilly” – and though that has yet to happen, the effort seems poised for a 2025 release.

During his Christmas giveaway stream with Adin Ross, Drizzy gave an update on the album and promised he’s “loaded” with music for the upcoming year.

“I’m loaded [for 2025.] Me and PARTY’s [album is] honestly one of the projects I’m most proud of in my life,” Drake said. “I’ve always wanted to make a full album of that – of our sound, Toronto sound, R&B. So it’s just the best that both of us have to offer. Listening party has to be in the city. I think ’25 will be a shift. I think people wanna just get back to like just dropping their shit.”

In November, PARTYNEXTDOOR assured fans the album would be finished when he wrapped up his Sorry I’m Outside Tour – of which the final show was on November 6 in London. It’s possible the album is complete now and its release imminent, but fans will have to continue to wait and see.

Drake first revealed the existence of the project during PND’s PARTYNEXTDOOR & Friends concert at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on August 2.

“I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be right there for you,” he said.

When asked his favorite song he’s made with the OVO boss, he said, “The one we doing right now – all 15 we doing right now,” revealing how many tracks the duo is working on for the new LP.
