The two were spotted hand-in-hand during Paris Fashion Week; the outing comes days before their wedding anniversary on Sept. 29
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are all smiles in Paris!
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Paltrow, 51, and her husband of nearly six years, 53, were seen holding hands while out for a stroll during Paris Fashion Week. The couple matched each other’s look with paired blue jeans and dark sunglasses for their outing. The Academy Award-winning actress wore a black jacket, a matching cross-body bag and white sneakers, while Falchuk wore a longer beige coat and brown shoes.
Paltrow and Falchuk’s outing in France comes just ahead of the couple’s sixth wedding anniversary. They tied the knot on Sept. 29, 2018 in an intimate ceremony held in the Hamptons, N.Y., four years after they began dating. Paltrow and Falchuk originally met when she appeared on his television series, Glee, in 2010. Their romantic relationship then blossomed after Paltrow and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, separated in 2014.
The Shakespeare in Love actress and the television producer share a blended family: Paltrow and Martin, 47, share two children, Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, while Falchuk shares his son, Brody, 18, and daughter, Isabella, 20, with ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik.
Earlier this month, on Sept. 2, Paltrow wrapped up her summer by posting a highlight reel to Instagram, which included multiple photos of the producer posing and walking with his wife. “Summer was good to us,” she captioned the clip.
She also wished Falchuk a happy 53rd birthday via social media on March 1, when she shared a photo of the two of them cuddled up on a beach on Instagram. “Happy birthday @bradfalchuk,” she wrote at the time. “You are my everything💙.”
Paltrow recently joined the cast of Timothée Chalamet’s upcoming A24 movie with director Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme, which will mark her first on-screen acting role since she appeared in her husband’s Netflix series, The Politician. Since starring in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, she has only acted in small voice roles, including an uncredited cameo as herself in 2022’s She Said and an appearance on Falchuk’s other series, American Horror Stories, in 2023.
In recent years, Paltrow has said that she was largely stepping away from acting to focus on her lifestyle and wellness brand, Goop, which she founded in 2008. (She even brought the brand to Netflix with The Goop Lab.)
She has also indicated that parenthood lessened her interest in acting, telling PEOPLE in November 2023, “When I had [daughter Apple], it just, everything felt redefined for me, and I thought, ‘I’m not sure that I want to do this so much as a career. I definitely don’t want to… I’m not going to go away for months on end.’ “
