Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz are sharing their favorite movies featuring each other.
As Tatum, 44, and his fiancée Kravitz, 35, appeared on Complex’s GOAT Talk show on Tuesday, August 20, to promote their new movie Blink Twice, the pair were asked to name each others’ “GOAT” — greatest of all time — roles.
“Goat Channing Tatum role?” Tatum asked Kravitz, who immediately answered by naming her upcoming directorial debut. “Slater King in Blink Twice,” she said, as she and Tatum cheered for their new movie. “Wait, do you agree?” she then asked, to which Tatum said, “No.”
“Don’t think it’s the best role you’ve ever played?” she asked. “Then what is?”
“This Is the End,” Tatum answered, referencing his amusing cameo as himself in the 2013 Seth Rogen apocalypse-themed comedy movie. “That’s fair,” Kravitz responded.
Kravitz then turned the question on her fiancé, joking as she asked him to name his favorite role of hers that it’s “the role I play in your life,” which made Tatum giggle.
“You in High Fidelity is the most you that I’ve seen in a movie,” he said, naming Kravitz’s 2020 comedy series on Hulu. “I love your Catwoman [from 2021’s The Batman], but you in High Fidelity was probably one of my favorite performances of yours.”
“I agree,” Kravitz said.
Tatum and Kravitz combined forces professionally and romantically for Blink Twice, a psychological thriller that also stars Naomi Ackie, Christian Slater, Geena Davis, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Alia Shawkat and Kyle MacLachlan. Tatum stars in the film as a billionaire named Slater King, who invites Ackie’s character Frida and her friend (Shawkat) to attend a gathering on his private island.
The pair met for the first time while making the movie and began stepping out together publicly in 2021. PEOPLE confirmed their engagement in October 2023 after Kravitz was seen wearing an engagement ring at a Halloween party. During the pair’s appearance on GOAT Talk, Tatum asked Kravitz to name the best gift she has ever received and sent a knowing look in the direction of her ring. “Don’t — what was that? That’s not a gift. Is that a gift? It’s a different thing,” she joked in response. “The subtle glance down to my ring just now, dude, was nuts.”
“That’s the best gift you’ve ever been given,” Tatum answered. “Your love and affection?” she asked, to which he replied, “I agree.”
Blink Twice is in theaters Aug. 23.
