TORONTO, ON – Drake has seemingly thrown a subtle jab at ScHoolboy Q after his Toronto show was canceled at very late notice.
The TDE rapper was scheduled to perform at History, a venue co-owned by Drizzy and Live Nation, on Thursday (July 18) but he announced just a day before that the plug had been pulled for reasons beyond his control.

Hours later, the 6 God uploaded a mirror selfie to Instagram in which he can be seen wearing blue slides, an apparent reference to ScHoolboy Q’s recent song of the same name.

He can also be seen rocking a “Free Yayo” t-shirt, identical to the one that Eminem wore at the 2003 Grammy Awards while the G-Unit rapper was locked up.

It was just last month that Tony Yayo gave an interview warning Drake’s enemies that they should be wary of traveling to Canada.

“You can’t really give your opinion because n-ggas still wanna go to Canada. You don’t wanna say something about Drake and now you can’t go to Canada,” he told VladTV while discussing Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar. “You got wild n-ggas in Canada like Pressa, Bun and Top5, all these wild n-ggas.

“And then you gotta come on the West Coast — that’s the grandfather of fucking gangbanging. You know how fans get. It could be a fan that punch you in the head.”

Drake has shown much love to G-Unit throughout his feud with Kendrick, featuring the crew’s iconic spinner chain in his “Family Matters” video and also using DJ Whoo Kid‘s mixtape tag at the beginning of “Push Ups.”

ScHoolboy Q himself blamed his canceled Toronto show on the bitter rivalry between the 6 God and his former TDE labelmate.

“THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), roughly 24 hours before he was expected to take to the stage in the Canadian city.

“TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH,” he wrote, referencing TDE founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith’s appearance at Birdman and Cash Money’s YouTube Leaders & Legends Gala. “[P]artynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium.”

Appearing to threaten violence, he added: “[I]f we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…”

When a fan suggested that Q’s Toronto show being canceled means he will avoid potentially being attacked in Drake’s hometown, he replied: “I don’t tHink u know wHo I am. In fact I do t tHink a lot of u know wHo I am.”

However, Q later denied he was threatening anybody, writing: “I neva said ‘ima kill sumbody’ im saying if we wanted to crack it off we could’ve smH,” he clarified. “Rap and move on playin tuff gon get sumbody Hurt it’s all good [crying face emoji] ima soccer dad.”

While the venue has yet to comment on the cancelation, it’s worth noting that Toronto has been hit with extreme weather in recent days, leaving areas flooded and without power.

Even Drake himself was affected as his $100 million mansion, known as “The Embassy,” was devastated by the floods — much to the delight of friend turned foe Rick Ross.
