Bobby Shmurda says that he has been removed as a performer from an upcoming show with Rick Ross, and he’s feeling quite a way over it.

Taking to Instagram to discuss the situation on Wednesday (July 17), Bobby claimed he was taken off the lineup because he’d made a video laughing about Rozay’s scuffle with Drake’s people in Canada late last month.

While denying he was making fun of Ross and instead saying he was defending him, Bobby mainly took issue with the fact that the MMG mogul didn’t personally call him about the matter.

“Why you ain’t call me, big homie? Why I gotta get the call from n-ggas?” he asked in the clip. “Talking about, ‘Yo, Rick Ross kicked you off the show.’ When I made that video, I was defending you…”

He later deleted the clip, but you can still watch below.

Bobby Shmurda has been at odds with quite a few people this year, and last month, he insisted he would be further ahead in his music career if he was painting his nails like some of his peers.

Taking to Instagram with a photo of his non-painted nails, the Brooklyn rapper urged his fans to stop asking him to release music since he feels the game is rigged in favor of men who have a more androgynous image.

“Stop asking me to drop music American DSP and music blogs which they owned as well don’t allow real Bodman on playlists because I don’t paint my fingers,” he said, “so it’s pointless so until something is done with the people who own, runs, and manages these platforms.”

Earlier this year, Bobby Shmurda accused a former business partner of launching a detrimental “propaganda campaign” against him.

In February, the rapper made an Instagram Reel over Meek Mill’s “#RapTherapy” freestyle. He built the post around a section of the intro monologue: “These are propaganda campaigns. They’ll pay 1,000 people to go online and just post negative things about a particular thing because they know that if that one thing, if it was discovered what it’ll really do, it’s gonna offset their profits.”

He offered context in the caption, writing: “To anybody who’s in the business of products advertisement or marketing and endorsements And all people who don’t know what that means it’s (entertainment) business all aspects of it. Now This is how you read the net if you’re going to get your information from it.

“So this is the reason why somebody will want to assassinate your character if you are no longer partners with them in product because the minute somebody discovers who you are they are going to make a whole Lotta money that they miss the chance out on.”

The post may have been in response to an incident at a London club the week prior, where Bobby was set to perform, but only got through a couple songs before a melee broke out.
