Real Madrid and Three Lions heroes of past and present have been brought together to help launch the latest instalment of the popular EA Sports gaming franchise. Current Blancos icon Bellingham has been confirmed as the cover star for 2025.

  Bellingham has been given that honour after helping Real to La Liga and Champions League titles, while also landing the coveted Kopa Trophy and Golden Boy award. He was considered to be a contender for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, but defeat in the European Championship final with England may have dashed those dreams.

  The talented 20-year-old also has some way to go before he can claim to boast a CV to rival that of former Three Lions captain Beckham, with the Manchester United legend seeing EA Sports set up a shoot that included his Premier League and Champions League crowns – leaving Bellingham a little starstruck.

  Bellingham is currently taking a well-earned break at the end of a grueling campaign with club and country, but will be back for more in 2024-25. He is about to be joined at Santiago Bernabeu by World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe, with the France international forward being showcased to adoring fans in the Spanish capital.
