Tom Brady laughed off a question about his former coach Bill Belichick’s relationship.
Brady, 47, sat down for an interview on Sundae Conversations with Caleb Pressley, where a handful of questions made the retired quarterback nervously laugh.
When Pressley asked Brady if Belichick, 72, ever followed his famed TB12 wellness method, Brady said his longtime friend and former coach did not. “Nah, he’s a big carb guy,” Brady said of Belichick.
That’s when Pressley brought up Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 24. “She looks as young and healthy as ever,” Pressley told Brady, suggesting Hudson might follow the strict TB12 method. “Sounds like it,” Brady said, before telling Pressley he doesn’t “follow” Belichick and Hudson’s relationship “too much.”
But the question that really made Brady laugh — and left him nearly speechless — was when Pressley asked Brady if he would ever rent a car for Hudson, noting that the former Bridegwater State University cheerleader is under 25, the legal age to rent a car.
Hertz spokesperson Brady was laughing so hard at the question he even let out a little snort before saying, “I don’t want any…liability.”
Hudson and Belichick took their relationship red carpet-official in December at a gala in New York City, before showing up all Super Bowl weekend long at various events around New Orleans.
They dazzled at NFL Honors on Thursday night, where they donned Belichick’s Super Bowl rings and Hudson’s BSU Cheerleading National Championship ring on the red carpet.
On Saturday, they stopped by Michael Rubin’s Fanatics party (as did Martha Stewart and Serena Williams) and later that night, Hudson walked the red carpet at Sports Illustrated‘s party.
Hudson looked glam in an outfit she told PEOPLE she got on Facebook Marketplace, inspired by her passion for Maine fisherman. She also rocked a lobster purse that she personally decorated in rhinestones that said “Save Maine Fishermen,” and said she’s working on a documentary about the adversity fishermen face in her hometown.
