Richard Gere’s got eyes for one Pretty Woman: his wife Alejandra Silva.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27, Gere, 75, and Silva, 41, attended the ELLE for Future 2024 event in Madrid, Spain, where they were honored with the ELLE Eco Award 2024 for their social and environmental work with the Sierra A Mar project and Xala With Heart Foundation.
The actor and the activist were all smiles on the carpet as they posed for photos, with Gere holding his arm around Silva for some images and Silva looking affectionately into his eyes for others.

The Agency star, who has said that he and his family will soon relocate to Spain, opened up about what he likes most about the country in an interview with Elle Spain.
“My wife,” he said with a laugh before continuing, “The place is beautiful. We were talking about communities, there’s a very strong sense of community and people care about each other.”
“You know, in my part of the world, those kind of bonds, social bonds, and community bonds are breaking down, so I do appreciate them,” he continued.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Nov. 20, Gere revealed that their family would be in Spain for Thanksgiving and opened up about why he opted to move to the European country.

“My wife is Spanish and she gave me about seven years here, so we’re going to spend some years in Madrid with her family,” he said. “Our kids are bilingual, so they’re going to flourish there.”
Gere hopes he and his wife will settle in their new home.
“My wife grew up in a big Spanish family, like a big Italian family, and her grandmother was kind of the glue that held that all together. And the grandmother passed away [about] two years ago, so my wife, I can see her morphing into the new grandmother of this extended family,” said Gere. “So she’s already planning for 35 people for Sunday lunches.”
The Agency debuts on Paramount+ with Showtime on Nov. 29.
