The SKIMS mogul’s 2024 tree is a massive flocked faux fir that will look familiar to Kardashian-Jenner holiday decor watchers
Kim Kardashian is officially kicking off Christmas 2024!
The SKIMS founder, 44, shared a first look at her towering, faux snow-covered tree to her Instagram Stories in the early hours of Monday, Nov. 25. She set the short clip panning over her holiday centerpiece to the seasonal song “Twinkling Lights” by Auni.
Kim is no stranger to extravagant holiday displays. The reality star has become known for showcasing elaborate Christmas decor in her Hidden Hills, Calif. residence over the years, and even sparked some controversy with a unique display she debuted in 2018.

That year, Kim posted photos from the lavish holiday party she and ex Kanye West hosted. The pictures included flower displays, numerous flocked (fake snow covered) trees, an outdoor light tunnel and a forest of fluffy white tree-shaped sculptures created by the Australian contemporary artist Kathy Temin.
A celebrity event planning expert told PEOPLE at the time that the entire party likely cost about 1.3 million dollars, with the sculptures alone costing around $10,000 apiece.

“It’s like a winter wonderland Whoville,” Kim said of the sculptures, referencing the Dr. Seuss classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas, while showcasing a hallway lined with the puffy white “trees.”
The Kardashians star brought the expensive installation back for several more Christmases and even shared photos of her children playing hide and seek in them in 2020.
“If you didn’t think I would bring back Whoville in the house…” the mother of four said in her post.

In 2023, the SKKN BY KIM founder shared how she decorates her kids’ bedrooms in addition to the rest of the house. Daughter North, now 11, posted a video to TikTok showcasing the decorations, which included a Christmas tree covered in pink handbags.

The Kardashian-Jenner family are also fans of an elaborate Elf on the Shelf display for the little ones.
In 2022, the mom of four shared that North created an elf-on-the-shelf display for her younger siblings, even making a “makeup artist” elf for her younger sister, Chicago, 6.

That same year, Kim revealed that she also decorated her primary bathroom for the holidays. The display featured a line of snow-dusted trees lit with white lights lining the massive space’s wall-to-wall windows.
