50 Cent has renewed his war of words with Floyd Mayweather after the boxing legend claimed that Donald Trump was “the best president ever.”
Appearing on the Fox Business show Making Money with Charles Payne on Wednesday (February 26), Mayweather firmly threw his support behind the controversial Republican.
“When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president, one of the — actually he’s the best president. In my eyes, he’s the best president we ever had,” he said.
The 48-year-old added: “Great business, great businessman, and that’s what it’s about. Trump has done an amazing job and a lot of people around America are upset. But no matter who goes in the White House, we’re always upset. I think Trump is the man for the job. He’s the best president in my eyes.”
The comments did not appear to sit right with Mayweather’s longtime frenemy, 50 Cent, who called him out on Instagram.
“YO you know how, when you’re in school and a kid eats the crayons. Now you see what happens when they grow up. Spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL,” he shot back.

50 Cent choosing to once again take aim at Mayweather for his illiteracy may stem from the boxer recently hanging out with Rick Ross, Big Meech and Lil Meech, who have all drawn the ire of the G-Unit boss in recent weeks.
Rozay was one of a number of celebrities in attendance at Floyd’s birthday party last week, around the same time the fighter was also pictured enjoying the company of the Black Mafia Family co-founder and his BMF actor son.
50 has been taking shots at the trio over allegations that Big Meech, who was released from prison last year after a lengthy stint behind bars, is a snitch.
Meanwhile, Fif himself has flirted with supporting Trump, despite clowning Mayweather over his praise for the president.
In 2020, he wrote on social media: “WHAT THE FUCK! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT. FUCK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya fucking mind.”
The media mogul would later switch his support to Biden ahead of that year’s election after receiving much criticism from fans.
He would later call Trump “the answer” after criticizing New York mayor Eric Adams’ handling of the city with regards to immigration.
50 also joked last year about why Trump had seen a surge in support among Black men, saying: “I see [Black men] identifying with Trump… because they have RICO charges.”
